Facial enlarged pore is one of the most widespread facial problems of men cause by aging, chronic ultraviolet light exposure, acne, seborrhea, and sun damage.

Generally, pores become enlarged due to lack of good skin care and poor skin exfoliation. Without proper skin care, the skin’s tiny outlets collect surface oil and dead skin cells, which make the pores appear enlarged. Unless the dead skin surface and oil deposit are removed, they tend to deposit in the skin pores and restrain the flow of oil. As a result, men with enlarged pores have greasy, rough, and bumpy facial skin.

How to Treat Enlarged Face Pore?

Traditionally, male skin care is optional. However, since men have oilier skin, skin care experts insist that the only key to smooth and beautiful skin is through the care of the over 20,000 pores in the face. Each pore needs to be cleansed, unclogged and cared for using effective skin facial care for men.

When enlarged pores start to show on the face skin, do not sit back and relax. Follow the following basic facial skin care for men, tested and tried by most skin care experts.

Basic Face Skin Care for Men

  • Begin with warm water. Wash face with pore refining cleanser that breaks down grit and grime without drying the skin. Cleanse the face in the morning before shaving and before bedtime. Pore refining cleanser sweeps away dead surface skin and refines rough, uneven patches. Then, it penetrates deep into the enlarged pores so they appear smaller and less-visible after regular use. Make sure you lather and work into your face. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Do not use soap on facial skin.

  • Scrub using male deep cleaning facial scrub to renew problem skin, and poor complexion caused by the accumulated dirt, oil and dead skin around the pores. Daily use of men’s facial scrubs also reduces oil build-up, minimizes enlarged face pores, and reveals smoother, fresher skin.

  • Finish with male facial toner. Tone because men are many times more exposed to environmental pollutants than women. Alcohol free male facial toner nourishes male face and improves skin elasticity. Apply toner with an upward stroke over face and neck. Toner tightens facial pore, removes residue and remaining grime.

  • Moisturize to hydrate, protect and reduce fine lines and dry skin. Moisturizing facial skin is an important part of male basic face care because it keeps the skin young and glowing. Use only moisturizers designed for male skin and formulated with Aloe Vera, and Chamomile. The male facial skin is thicker and oilier than woman’s skin, therefore, it does not do much good to use cosmetics formulated for women.

  • Use male facial mask once a week. Facial mask is good for deep pore cleansing. Facial masks absorb excess oil, tighten pores and remove impurities from the skin. Organic facial mask for men is rich in mineral deposits that help revitalize male facial skin.

Like other body parts, male face needs best men's skin care to help reduce various skin flaws such as enlarged facial pores. In addition, skin care for men helps lessen fine lines, restore moisture, keep skin healthy and firm. The benefits of good grooming and facial skin care products are endless—a great looking face is what people see first and what they forget last.

The products you use can make a big difference. Ingredients used in many skin care products are known to be harmful or toxic. Research has shown that a buildup of toxins on the skin can actually cause pimples.

It's in your best interest to read labels and research the ingredients, to get the cleanest product you can find. It can mean the difference between clear skin, clogged pores and pimples.

Most men I know ignore the fact that they, too, need to take care of their skin. It's part of proper hygiene.
